Chouchou is a self-taught French artist in body painting, self-portrait, and photography. This nickname ties the artist with the main character of her artwork: a woman on a quest to transcend life's monotony, delves into her Internal Family System (IFS, a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Richard Schwartz in the 1980s). Chouchou explores the diverse parts of her psyche by personifying them with the Managers (proactive parts), the Exiles (rejected parts), and the Firefighters (emergency responders).Though this creative exploration, Chouchou aims to foster understanding, acceptance and empathy for each part; and therefore achieve harmony within her inner self.
